Instructions for use
Unlike most other sugar alcohols, erythritol is hardly hygroscopic, meaning it doesn't attract moisture. This makes it very easy to store.
Warnings
Erythritol is easily soluble. Of all the sugar alcohols, erythritol is the most easily tolerated because it is excreted almost completely unchanged. Only at very high doses (> 2 g/kg body weight) does it cause the digestive discomfort that other sugar alcohols cause, even at lower doses (<1 g/kg body weight). Excessive consumption can produce a laxative effect.
