Refund policy

Right of Withdrawal

1. General Right to Withdraw

  • Consumers have the right to cancel (withdraw from) a distance contract within 14 calendar days.

  • The 14-day period starts from:

    • The date of delivery of the goods (for a single item).

    • The date of delivery of the last item (if the order contains multiple items).

    • The date of delivery of the last lot (if goods are delivered in parts).

    • The first day of delivery (if goods are delivered regularly over time).

2. How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal

  • The consumer must notify the seller of the withdrawal by submitting a “notification of refusal”.

  • This notification can be sent:

    • Via postal service.

    • Handed in personally.

    • Through an online withdrawal form if provided by the seller.

  • The withdrawal is effective if the notification is sent within the 14-day deadline.

  • It’s recommended to keep proof of sending (e.g., postal receipt, confirmation from seller).

3. Seller’s Obligations

  • The seller must provide a withdrawal form or otherwise inform the consumer about the right to withdraw.

  • Upon withdrawal, the seller must reimburse all payments including delivery costs (except for extra costs if consumer chose a more expensive delivery option) within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notification.

  • The refund will be made by the same payment method unless otherwise agreed.

  • The seller can wait to refund until they receive the returned goods or proof that the goods have been sent back.

4. Returning the Goods

  • The consumer must return the goods within 14 days after notifying the seller.

  • The consumer bears the direct costs of returning the goods.

  • The consumer is responsible for any loss in value of the goods if it results from handling the goods beyond what is necessary to check their nature and functionality.

5. Consumer’s Right to Use the Product

  • The consumer can use the product as they would in a physical store to inspect it (e.g., checking quality and characteristics).

  • If the product is used beyond this inspection or is damaged/devalued due to improper use, the consumer may be liable for the loss in value.

  • Use must be in good faith and not exceed the normal scope of testing before purchase.

6. Cases Where the Right of Withdrawal Does NOT Apply

  • Specially made or customized products tailored to the consumer’s specifications.

  • Contracts concluded at public auctions.

  • Goods or services whose price depends on fluctuating financial markets beyond seller’s control.

  • Contracts where service begins within the 14-day period and consumer agreed to waive the withdrawal right once service started.

  • Goods that are mixed irreversibly with other items after delivery.

  • Urgent repair or maintenance services, except for additional goods/services not necessary for the repair.
