Vit-A-Vision Eye Ointment PZN: 12418532 Contents: 10g Vit-A-Vision Eye Ointment Eye ointment with vitamin A and dexpanthenol - Preservative-free Vit-A-Vision is used for the long-lasting improvement of the tear film and intensive protection of the ocular surface. Its cell-protective properties enable normal re-epithelialization when this is impaired by dryness. Vit-A-Vision provides long-lasting relief from the symptoms of dryness, irritation, and minor irritation, particularly in cases of environmental stress, e.g., from air conditioning, wind, or air pollution, for example, from cigarette smoke, or in cases of fatigue and visual stress caused by intensive viewing, e.g., at computer screens, microscopes, or long car journeys, or in cases of mechanical stress, e.g., from wearing hard or soft contact lenses or from diagnostic procedures on the eye. Application: Vit-A-Vision is usually applied three times daily for long-lasting improvement of the tear film and intensive protection of the ocular surface. Application in the evening before bedtime is particularly recommended, so that the ointment can develop an intensive, long-lasting effect on the irritated eye. Unscrew the protective cap, tilt your head slightly back, and pull the lower eyelid slightly away from the eye. Apply light pressure to the tube to inject an approximately 0.5 cm long strip of ointment into the conjunctival sac. Close your eyes slowly. Carefully reseal the tube after use. It should be used continuously for more than 30 days. Vit-A-Vision is a preservative-free eye ointment that contains vitamin A, vitamin E, and dexpanthenol, as well as petrolatum, thick paraffin, wool wax, cetylstearyl alcohol, and purified water. Use for 3 months after opening.
