Ingredients: Active ingredient: 1 vaginal suppository contains: 500 mg clotrimazole. 1 g cream contains: 10 mg clotrimazole. Other ingredients of the vaginal suppository: cetylstearyl alcohol, hard fat, macrogol 20 glycerol monostearate, polyacrylic acid sodium salt. Other ingredients of the cream: benzyl alcohol, cetyl palmitate, cetylstearyl alcohol, sodium citrate, octyldodecanol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, purified water. Since both the vagina and the labia are usually affected by a yeast infection, both areas should be treated. The complete treatment with Vagisan Myko Kombi therefore consists of a vaginal suppository and a cream. Vaginal suppository (Cremolum): Insert the vaginal suppository as deeply into the vagina as possible. You should preferably do this in the evening, as the vaginal suppository can then work while you sleep. A one-day treatment is usually sufficient to treat a vaginal yeast infection. Treatment should ideally not be performed during menstruation or should be completed before it begins. Since the vaginal suppository melts in the vagina, it is advisable to wear a panty liner to avoid greasy stains on underwear. Cream for use in the external genital area: To treat the itching and pain associated with fungal inflammation of the labia, apply a thin layer of the cream twice daily to the external genital area from the vaginal opening to the anus and rub in gently. The cream should be used for one week. Please adhere to this time even if symptoms have subsided earlier. Treatment can be continued for up to two weeks. However, if symptoms do not improve within seven days, please consult your doctor.
