Vagisan's white, smooth cream moisturizes the dry vagina with nourishing lipids and relieves the symptoms caused by vaginal dryness, such as dryness, burning, itching, or vaginal pain. With the addition of lactic acid, the moisturizing cream has a pH value of 4.5, helping to maintain a natural acidity (pH) in the vagina.
This vaginal cream is free of hormones (estrogens) and can therefore be used together with hormone replacement therapy or alternately with hormone (estrogen)-containing vaginal creams or suppositories.
Regular use of Vagisan Moist Cream can help prevent irritation, inflammation and pain in the vagina and external genital area caused by vaginal dryness.
Vagisan Moisturizing Cream can be used before intercourse (as a lubricant), especially if intercourse is painful. The cream does not affect sperm motility and can therefore also be used if you are trying to conceive.
Vaginal dryness primarily affects women during or after menopause, but younger women can also be affected. Estrogen deficiency (after menopause) is often the cause of vaginal dryness, but hormonal fluctuations or stress can also be causes.
Vagisan Moist Cream makes the sensitive skin in the intimate area pleasantly soft. This can also have a positive effect during sex, especially for women who otherwise suffer from painful intercourse (dyspareunia).
