The German Nutrition Society (DGE) recommends that adults consume at least 30 grams of fiber per day. However, many people do not achieve this amount. Therefore, the additional consumption of plant-based fiber such as psyllium husk and inulin can be beneficial and support a healthy diet. Psyllium husk is the seed husk of the Plantago ovata plant. It contains soluble fiber with a high swelling capacity. This gently increases stool volume and supports natural motility. Inulin is a natural and slightly sweet-tasting fiber from chicory root. Like all fiber, it cannot be digested enzymatically in the intestines but is metabolized by the bacteria in the intestinal flora.
Ingredients
Maltodextrin, inulin (25%), psyllium husks (22%), fructose, acidifier citric acid, natural orange flavoring, coloring food natural paprika extract.
Instructions for use
Before or during a meal, add 1 tablespoon (approximately 10 g each) to a glass twice daily and add 200 ml of still water or orange juice. Stir and drink immediately. It is best to follow with another glass of liquid. Since Flosalin® binds fluid in the intestines, drink at least 1.5–2 liters throughout the day. Consumption over at least 7 days is recommended. Suitable for long-term use.
