Cutasept F is recommended for the following applications:
- before injections, punctures and surgical procedures in hospitals, doctor's offices, inpatient and outpatient geriatric care and for home dialysis
- for diabetics in the context of blood sugar measurement and insulin administration
- HIV post-exposure prophylaxis

Warnings
Cutasept F: Active ingredient: Propan-2-ol. Indications: Skin disinfection before punctures, injections, and surgical procedures. Surgical and hygienic hand disinfection. Warnings: There is insufficient experience with the treatment of infants and small children. In these cases, use may only be carried out after particularly strict indications have been established and under medical supervision. Benzalkonium chloride can cause skin irritation. Do not wet the skin under tourniquet cuffs. Wait until incision drapes are completely dry. Do not use electrical devices until dry. Avoid accumulation on the patient's bed. Do not bring into contact with open flames. Keep away from sources of ignition. If the product is used as intended, there is no risk of fire or explosion. If the solution comes into contact with the eyes, rinse them with open eyes for several minutes with running water. If the disinfectant is spilled, the following measures must be taken: Immediately absorb the liquid, dilute with plenty of water, ventilate the room, and eliminate all ignition sources. Flash point according to DIN 51755: 21 °C. Flammable. Any transfer may only be carried out under aseptic conditions (clean bench).
