Medrull Ultrasoft 4-ply wound dressings, 5 x 5 cm - Packed in 2 pieces - 20 paper bags (40 pieces) are used in medicine as ready-made surgical dressings, for bandaging, wound drainage, as wound pads, and during operations. They are used for tamponade to stop bleeding and secretions, to secure dressings, to apply pressure to any area of skin (especially to stop bleeding), and to protect wounds or altered skin from environmental influences. The compresses are secured with a bandage or adhesive bandage and are also widely used in cosmetology. The fabric edges are wrapped inward to prevent stitches from reaching the wound surface. Available in various sizes. Bandages such as gauze bandages, sterile compresses, and gauze swabs should be included in every first-aid kit and medicine cabinet.
