Drano Power-Gel removes the most stubborn drain blockages in 5 minutes. For particularly stubborn blockages, leave it on for at least 30 minutes or overnight. The active ingredient is chlorine bleach. This chemically acts but does not remain in the environment. Instead, it decomposes into table salt, water, and oxygen through natural physical processes. The product does not have a thermal effect; no heat is generated in the pipe. However, chlorine bleach decomposes when exposed to light. To achieve full effectiveness, the chlorine bleach should always be stored in a dark place (e.g., in a locked household cupboard). Only then is full performance guaranteed for 2 years. There is no harm in overdosing the product (to avoid clumping in the pipe), but after the recommended half-hour exposure time, a sufficient amount of water (approx. 4-5 liters) should be rinsed after the drainpipe to ensure that no product residue remains. Drano Power-Gel must not be mixed with other commercially available cleaners, including in closed toilet systems filled with chemicals (chemical toilets). This is because Power-Gel reacts with other acid-based cleaners (toilet cleaners, descalers). This can produce dangerous chlorine gases. Important: Open product carefully. Keep out of reach of children. The stamped triangle is a blind symbol and indicates that this is a product labeled according to the Hazardous Substances Ordinance. Do not dispose of with household waste. Product residues must be taken to a hazardous waste collection point. A completely emptied/used product can be disposed of using the Green Dot collection system (in the yellow bin).

Keep container tightly closed and store in a cool place. Store bottle upright.
