Contains a highly active, bioavailable DAO enzyme; dispenser containing 60 gastro-resistant mini-tablets. Foods for special medical purposes (FSMP), as opposed to nutritional supplements, are specially prepared or formulated foods intended for the care of patients, including infants, under medical supervision to meet the nutritional needs of infants. Ingestion, digestion, absorption, metabolization, or excretion of normal food or certain nutrients or metabolites thereof is limited, or deficient, altered, or they require other clinically determined nutrients, including dietary supplements.
