Curazink
Zinc deficiency can manifest itself through various symptoms. For example, increased susceptibility to infections (e.g., colds, fungal infections) and exhaustion can indicate a weakened immune system due to zinc deficiency. However, zinc deficiency can also lead to dry skin, brittle nails, and dry, weak hair, even leading to hair loss. To compensate for this deficiency, Curazink supplies the body with a special zinc-histidine complex. Histidine, the body's own substance, is the natural transport partner for zinc in the human body. Curazink's active ingredient complex is thus directly available and quickly reaches the cells.
Why does the body need zinc? Zinc performs numerous important functions. Among other things, it affects the activity of certain enzymes, thus influencing carbohydrate, fat, and protein metabolism, and supports the normal function of the immune system. 32% of men and 21% of women do not consume the recommended daily intake of zinc. Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose for children aged 12 years and over, adolescents and adults is: • 1 Curazink® capsule daily (equivalent to 15 mg zinc). How to use Please take the capsules with meals. If you have trouble swallowing the capsule, stir its contents into a liquid (e.g. water, fruit juice). Duration of use The duration of use will be determined by your doctor. Please talk to your doctor if you have the impression that the effect of Curazink® is too strong or too weak.
Warnings
Warnings and precautions Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Curazink®: • if you suffer from stomach ulcers (peptic ulcers) • if you have acute kidney failure or severe kidney tissue damage (renal parenchymal damage) • if you are taking zinc for a long time. In this case, both copper and zinc levels in the blood should be monitored.
