Instructions for use
Remove the thermometer from the storage case. Press the power button. During the internal self-test, the display will show all elements. Then, the last measured temperature will be shown for 5 seconds. The protective cap indicator will flash to indicate that a new cap needs to be replaced.
Warnings
To avoid inaccurate measurements, this thermometer must always be used with a new, clean protective cap. If the thermometer is accidentally used without a protective cap, clean the lens. Information on cleaning, changing the temperature scale, or error messages can be found in the package insert. In the following cases, you should wait 20 minutes before measuring the temperature.
