Inhaler with compressor compressed air technology - Function:
In compressed air nebulizers, a compressor generates compressed air (approx. 0.8–1.45 bar). This compressed air is directed onto the inhaled substance via the air hose and a nozzle in the nebulizer. The air jet dislodges particles from the inhaled substance and is mixed with other air in the nebulizer. The inhaled substance is delivered to the patient via a mask or mouthpiece. This technology is particularly recommended for highly viscous (thick) medications. The extensive range of accessories ensures optimal application and is also suitable for use with children.
