The Autan tick protection pump spray effectively keeps ticks, which can transmit diseases such as Lyme disease, away for up to 12 hours. The spray is also suitable as a mosquito repellent and offers strong mosquito protection for up to 10 hours. The product has been dermatologically tested by the Skin Health Alliance and can be used on children from 2 years of age.
The active ingredient icaridin is recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) to protect the skin from bites by mosquitoes, biting flies, and ticks. Even at a low concentration, icaridin offers similar effectiveness to DEET and also demonstrates good material and skin compatibility. Icaridin is also characterized by its neutral odor. Mosquitoes are attracted by body odors such as sweat or carbon dioxide (breathed air). Spraying mosquito repellents onto the skin blocks the insects' odor receptors, preventing them from perceiving human scents and from landing on the skin and biting. For effective protection, the product should be rubbed evenly onto the skin. It can also be used in combination with sunscreen and other skin care products. However, it is important that the insect repellent is applied to the skin last.

Instructions for use
To apply to the skin, spray the product evenly onto all areas of skin to be protected and then rub in evenly with your hand. We recommend, for example, using approximately 6-7 sprays/~1ml for the area of one forearm. For use on the face of children or adults, spray directly into the palm of an adult's hand and spread sparingly on the face of the adult or child, avoiding the eyes and mouth area. Suitable for children aged 2 years and over. For children aged 2 years and over, do not use more than once a day, for adults a maximum of three times a day. Wash hands after use.
