Autan Family Care Pump Spray was developed for mosquito protection for the family. It moisturizes and is gentle on the skin thanks to aloe vera. The active ingredient icaridin ensures that mosquitoes are repelled. The protection provided by a single application of Autan Family Care Pump Spray keeps mosquitoes away for up to 4 hours and, for a limited time, ticks and biting flies away. (For long-lasting protection against ticks, we recommend Autan Protection Plus Tick Protection.) It is always crucial to apply the spray completely. Otherwise, the mosquitoes will seek out the areas that have not been treated with the repellent. After this time, or as needed, you should repeat the application. For the area of one forearm, for example, we recommend using 6-7 sprays / ~ 1 ml. Please note that Autan is not waterproof, so always reapply the protection after bathing/swimming. The effect also wears off sooner due to sweat and abrasion, so you must spray more often if necessary. For use on the face, we recommend spraying the spray onto the palms of your hands and then Apply to the face, but please avoid the eye area. By the way, mosquitoes can also bite through very thin clothing, so if necessary, also apply under clothing. If you use Autan and sunscreen (or other cosmetics) at the same time, we recommend applying Autan after you have already applied sunscreen.
