The Autan Botanicals Pump Spray is a natural, plant-based insect repellent spray. With an active ingredient content of 30 percent citridiol, it provides reliable protection against mosquitoes and tiger mosquitoes for up to 6 hours. The spray also offers long-term tick protection (up to 5 hours). The product has been dermatologically tested by the Skin Health Alliance and can be used on children from 2 years of age.
The active ingredient citriodiol, which is extracted from the distilled oil of the lemon eucalyptus tree, is the most powerful naturally occurring insect repellent. Unlike other essential oils, citriodiol has passed the most stringent safety tests and effectively repels mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are attracted to body odors such as sweat or carbon dioxide (breathed air). Spraying mosquito repellent onto the skin blocks the insects' scent receptors, preventing them from detecting human scents and from landing on the skin and biting. For effective protection, the product should be rubbed evenly onto the skin. It can also be used in combination with sunscreen and other skin care products. However, it is important that the insect repellent is applied to the skin last.

Instructions for use
Spray the product evenly onto all areas of skin to be protected and then rub in evenly with your hand. We recommend, for example, using approximately 6-7 sprays for the area of one forearm. Use a maximum of twice a day. Do not swallow the liquid. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not spray directly onto the face. For facial application, spray into the palm of your hand and spread sparingly over the face. Do not use on children under 2 years of age. Do not use on children's hands. Adults apply the product for children. Do not use on damaged or irritated skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. For external use only. We recommend using the product outdoors or in well-ventilated areas and washing hands after use. Store below 30°C. Use only according to the instructions. BAuA number: N-80824.
