Areas of Use: For hygienic and surgical hand disinfection by rubbing in. Specifically designed for all work areas with an increased risk of infection (infection wards, intensive care units, dialysis departments), emergency rooms, outpatient clinics, and laboratories. Sterillium Virugard is the first alcohol-based hand disinfectant tested and approved for the prevention of viral diseases (area of effectiveness B).

Sterillium Virugard: Active ingredient: Ethanol. Composition: 100 g of solution contains: Active ingredient: 99% ethanol (95.0 g). Other ingredients: Butan-2-one, glycerol, tetradecan-1-ol, benzine. Areas of application: Hygienic and surgical hand disinfection. Contraindications: Do not use on mucous membranes. Do not use in the immediate vicinity of the eyes or open wounds. Hypersensitivity to ingredients. Side effects: Mild, diffuse skin irritations or allergic reactions rarely occur. In such cases, intensifying general skin care is recommended. Warnings: Do not bring into contact with open flames. Do not use near ignition sources. Close the bottle after use. Flash point according to DIN 51755: 0 °C. Highly flammable. Avoid electrostatic charging. Do not touch anything with alcohol-soaked hands. If the disinfectant is spilled, the following measures must be taken: Immediately absorb the liquid, dilute with plenty of water, ventilate the room, and eliminate all ignition sources. No smoking. Any transfers must be carried out only under aseptic conditions (in a clean bench). Use hand disinfectants carefully. Always read the label and product information before use.
